The Muse: Panoply

What a great word: panoply. A complete or impressive array of things. I like to think that  a good wardrobe would be exactly that. A treasure trove of patterns and textures, a kaleidoscope of colors and a wealth of hues. Different fabrics, materials, time periods, sources, all coming together to make that complete and impressive array. Think about playing dress up when you were a kid, having a trunk of magic you could pull out and dress up in. I like to think my wardrobe is still that, and every time I visit I have a panoply to choose from and as varied as the rest of the world that we live in. Canvas, feathers, leather, silk, cotton, plastic, metal, glass...this outfit has it all, a panoply in itself.
